Currency Manager

Currency Manager is a complete currency administration plugin for PlayHub. It allows administrators to manage available currencies, exchange rates, money formatting, and the website's default payment currency.

Financial Safeguards

• The default currency cannot be disabled or deleted.
• Currencies referenced by financial records cannot be deleted.
• Currency codes already used by transactions cannot be renamed.
• The default payment currency is locked after financial transactions exist.
• Historical transactions are never converted or rewritten.
• Only enabled currencies are exposed to the website and other plugins.

Exchange Rates

Exchange rates are entered manually. Each rate represents the number of currency units equal to one unit of the default currency. The default currency always uses an exchange rate of 1.00000000.

Currency Manager does not connect to an external exchange-rate provider. Administrators remain responsible for reviewing and updating rates.

Plugin Integration

Enabled currencies are available through the PlayHub public integrations response and Currency Manager API. Other PlayHub plugins can use the provided formatting and conversion hooks for consistent monetary values.
